Throughout history the hockey glove has been known to trap in a certain foul odor. Scientists and hockey parents have been adamantly trying to solve this problem for decades but unfortunately to this day the problem still exists. Oddly enough, hockey players don’t seem to mind as it tends to only bother the innocent bystanders or those in charge of packing and unpacking the hockey bag. You know a hockey glove has had it’s day when you can see more of the players hands and fingers than the material itself. However, hockey players sometimes tend to be the superstitious type, so if you happen to notice that their gloves are in horrible shape, or emit a very foul odor from them, chances are they are kept for personal reasons.
