Throughout history the hockey skate has been known to trap in a certain foul odor. This certain foul odor is the result of the human feet being extremely active throughout the game, practice or skating activity. The hockey skate provides very little access to fresh air therefore the odor from the active feet continue to compound game after game, practice after practice until ultimately… there is no return. Now, hockey moms and dads have tried it all. From over drying, to stuffing dryer sheets in the boot, to using an abundance of Febreze spray, it seems once the phalanges are crammed back into the boot, it’s like they never left. Moms and dads remember… when your at home and catch a whiff of something foul and look over to see your little all star not wearing socks… just remember it’s all part of the game!
