The Hiram Walker

$29.99 + HST

The Hiram Walker building found in the northern tip of Windsor, Ontario and along the bank of the Detroit River is one that exudes history. Hiram Walker began his spirit business ventures on the opposite side of the river in Detroit Michigan but after purchasing much cheaper land in Windsor, he made the move to Canada and the rest is history. Rumor has it that during the early 1900s Hiram and well-known gangster associates such as Al Capone spent time in the basement of this building crafting schemes and constructing underground tunnels into the United States for the purpose of the illegal smuggling of his product. Fast forward to today the building is a popular destination for history buffs, wedding photos and special events.
