The Walkerville Collegiate

Walkerville Ontario is known throughout history as the birth place of Canadian Club Whiskey. In the early years the success of the business rose rapidly and the neighborhoods of Walkerville expanded in all directions in order to accommodate the employees of the distillery. Naturally, the children of the area needed a place to be educated and in 1922 Walkerville Collegiate Institute was built and is always remembered for it’s imposing architectural presence. Fast forward 100 years the school continues to thrive and the surrounding neighborhoods are lined with towering trees, stately homes and an abundance of unmatched history and traditions.
